1. Who we are

Forged Compliance is a trading name of [Company legal name] ("we", "us"), registered in [jurisdiction], company number [number], registered office [address]. These terms govern purchases from forgedcompliance.com.

2. What you are buying

Products are digital documents (Word, Excel and similar files) delivered electronically. They are templates and reference material that you tailor to your organisation. They are not legal, regulatory or professional advice, and purchasing them does not create an advisory relationship.

3. Ordering and payment

Submitting an order request is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we issue an invoice and you pay it. Prices are shown exclusive of VAT and other taxes, which are added where applicable. We may decline an order, in which case any payment is refunded in full.

4. Delivery

Files are delivered by email download link after payment clears, normally the same business day. Links remain active for 12 months. You are responsible for keeping your own copy after download.

5. Licence

On payment we grant the purchasing organisation a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to:

• use, copy, edit and adapt the documents for the internal purposes of the licensed organisation and its wholly owned subsidiaries;
• share tailored versions with auditors, assessors, regulators, customers, suppliers and insurers in the ordinary course of business.

You may not: resell, sublicense, rent or publicly distribute the documents or substantial parts of them; use them to provide documentation to third parties as a service (a separate multi-client licence is available for consultancies and managed service providers); remove our copyright notices from unedited templates; or use them to create a competing product.

We retain all intellectual property in the template content. You own the material you add. Where a third-party framework is referenced, the framework itself remains the property of its publisher (for example ISO, NIST, PCI SSC, AICPA) and nothing here licenses that framework to you.

6. Updates

Purchases include updates to the purchased products for 12 months (24 months for the Complete Library) from the date of purchase. Updates are delivered by email. After the update period you may renew at the then-current fee.

7. Refunds

Because the products are digital and cannot be returned, no refund is available once files have been delivered, except where a product is materially different from its description, in which case notify us within 14 days of delivery and we will correct it or refund the price. Where consumer law gives you rights we cannot exclude, those rights apply. Business customers acknowledge that by requesting immediate delivery they waive any statutory cancellation period to the extent permitted by law.

8. Warranty and liability

We warrant that the documents are written with reasonable skill and care to the framework editions stated on the product page at the date of last revision. We do not warrant that use of the documents will result in certification, attestation, regulatory compliance or any particular outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any purchase is limited to the price paid for the products concerned, and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, and regulatory fines or penalties.

9. Acceptable use of the website

Do not attempt to access other customers' data, interfere with the site, or scrape the catalogue for republication.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of [jurisdiction] and the courts of [jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer rights that cannot be excluded.
